Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Slice tortillas with a pizza cutter into desired sizes.
Step: 3
Fry 1/2 of the tortillas in the hot oil until golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with salt. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
